I wasn't expecting that.

Hello GenZ Techie,

I sent that last email and honestly? I was nervous.

Over a year of silence. I didn’t know if anyone would open it. I didn’t know if you’d care. I didn’t know if the unsubscribes would outnumber the replies.

And then you showed up.

The replies. The DMs. The people who said “I’ve been waiting for this.” The new subscribers who found us through someone who forwarded the email to a friend. I’m still processing it.

I just wanted to come here and say thank you. Not in a brand-voice, corporate kind of way. Just me, Sussan, saying I see you and it means the world.

This is why we’re doing all of this. Not for numbers. Not for metrics. For this feeling. This thing that happens when a community actually feels like a community.
